Can I use GemPages for free?
GemPages is always free. We offer a Free plan that includes access to basic features, allowing you to create and edit pages with a limited type of pages. However, if you want to unlock premium features, you can upgrade to any paid plan.
How does GemPages billing work?
Our monthly and yearly subscription is handled by Shopify. Please refer to Shopify’s App Billing Cycles for more information.
How to cancel Gempages subscription?
Simply uninstall GemPages from your Shopify app list. The detailed guide can be found here. You will not be charged for the next billing cycle once GemPages has been uninstalled and your personal sensitive information will be subject to erasure after two days.
Does GemPages offer any discounts?
GemPages offers a range of various promotions from discounts for agencies, affiliates, annual plans, and multiple stores to free services for educational and non-profit organizations as a way to give back to the community.
What if I work for a nonprofit or I am a student?

Can I apply a single subscription on multiple stores?
GemPages subscriptions are limited to use with a single store. Nevertheless, we provide multi-store discounts of up to 30% off. If you wish to apply for a multi-store discount, please go to the Pricing Dashboard, and submit a request in the multi-store discount section.
What are the normal working hours for customer support?

Does GemPages offer an annual subscription plan?
Yes, we allow users to choose between monthly and annual subscriptions. Please refer to our pricing page on the website or directly in your Dashboard.
How can I change my current plan?
You can change your current plan by accessing the Account Settings on the GemPages Dashboard, simply click on “See plan” in order to have access to the pricing plan, and then, select your desired plan.
What happens when I downgrade to a lower plan?
When you downgrade to a lower plan, exclusive features of the previous plan will be forfeited immediately. On the other hand, your subscription fee will be prorated based on the difference in price and the number of days left in your billing cycle. How can I revert to the Free plan?
Once you have opted for a paid plan, it is not possible to switch back to the free plan. Please contact our support team for further assistance.
Where do I find my billing history?
You can go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Billing > Bills to see the details of your billing cycle as well as your recent invoices in this section.
Can I apply the multi-store and annual discounts at once?
Yes, you can apply the multi-store discount on the second store while receiving the annual discount. This is the only scenario in which it is possible to combine two types of discounts simultaneously.
Can I still request for partial refund?
According to our previous refund policy, users are able to request a partial refund for the unused subscription time after the initial 30 days. After March 13, 2023, this term will be removed and only a full refund can be requested within 30 days of the first billing cycle. However, if you have subscribed or upgraded before that date, we will still honor the previous policy and you can still request the partial refund.
Will there be any changes to the features of my legacy plan when I switch to the new GemPages plans?
Once the new pricing comes into effect:
– If you switch to a new plan, you will be offered a new set of features accordingly.
– If you keep using the current plan, your existing features will remain unaffected for as long as you continue to subscribe.
Please note that once GemPages is uninstalled and reinstalled, you will not be able to keep the legacy plan and you will need to subscribe to one of the new plans.
Will there be any changes to my legacy plan after the introduction of the new pricing model?
Rest assured that the new pricing model will not affect your legacy subscriptions. It will only be applied to new installs or plan upgrades/downgrades from November 9th, 2022 onwards.
Can I transfer my GemPages subscription to another Shopify user?
GemPages subscription is linked with the Shopify store, which can be transferred along with the store owner. Refer to Shopify Help Center.
How can I request a refund?
You can follow the steps below to request a refund:
Step 1: Cancel the subscription.
Step 2: Submit your latest invoice from the Shopify admin to the support team.
Step 3: Wait for 3 – 5 business days for the refund to be processed.

GemPages offer a money-back guarantee for all plans only in the initial 30 days of your subscription. If you are not satisfied with our services for any reason within this time, you are eligible for a full refund according to our Refund Policy.
How can I stop being charged when I opt out of GemPages services?
With regards to any third-party subscriptions on Shopify, the most effective way to terminate a billing cycle is to uninstall the app so Shopify can recognize the user’s desire to no longer utilize the app and cancel the next billing cycle. It is essential to point out that GemPages does not have any power concerning one’s billing cycle and Shopify is solely responsible for managing all billing cycles. In case you are still being charged after uninstalling GemPages, you are advised to contact Shopify support for further help.
I got double-charged for the same billing cycle, what should I do?
Shopify is the party that manages all of your billing cycles, including GemPages. It’s very rare to be double-charged (charged twice during one billing cycle). However, if this happens, please contact our Support Team for further assistance. With adequate proof of purchase, we’ll do our best to help you.
Can I revert to the legacy plan after upgrading to the new GemPages plans?
Regrettably, upon transitioning to one of our more recent plans, reverting to the legacy plans will not be available as they have been discontinued as of November 9, 2022.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Can I downgrade plans from annually to monthly?
Yes, you can downgrade from an annual to a monthly plan by accessing the Account Settings on the GemPages Dashboard or simply navigating to our Pricing page and selecting the Monthly plan. When downgrading to the monthly plan, you will be offered an app credit based on the difference in price and the number of days remaining in the billing cycle as stated in the Shopify policy.
Can I transfer pages between different Shopify stores?
Yes, you can transfer your pages to other Shopify stores that are pre-installed with GemPages. Read our detailed tutorial. Beware, the sender (store transferring the page) must have a paid subscription.
What does page type mean?
In Shopify, “page type” refers to the kind of content on a page, such as a product, collection, blog post, or homepage. On GemPages, the “landing” type will allow you to create more pages like About, Contact, Policy, etc.
What does unlimited page type mean?
This means with one or several page types you can create and publish as many pages as you want. Other page types that are not mentioned as “unlimited” are subject to limitations when publishing.
