How to Set Your Landing Page as the Homepage

Option 1: Change Page Type from the GemPages Dashboard

Follow these steps to turn your landing page into a homepage from the GemPages dashboard:

Step 1: Open GemPages Dashboard > Go to Pages > Locate your Landing Page.

Step 2: Click the three-dot menu next to the landing page you want to change. Select Clone to other page types.

Step 3: In the pop-up window:

• Select Page Type as Homepage.
• Enter a new page title.
• Click Confirm to complete the process.

Option 2: Change Page Type from the GemPages Editor

You can also change the page type while editing the page in the GemPages editor:

Step 1: Open GemPages Dashboard > Go to Pages > Select the Landing Page you want to convert and open it in the GemPages Editor.

Step 2: Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Select Clone to other page type.

Step 4: Choose Homepage as the new page type, enter a new title, and click Confirm.

Once you’ve cloned your landing page as a homepage, you may need to replace Shopify’s default homepage with your newly created GemPages homepage. For detailed instructions, refer to this article.
