Why is a collection not shown in the Collection page?
When a collection doesn’t show on your GemPages collection page, the most common reason is that you haven’t properly assigned it to the page. Otherwise, the collection may not be active in your Shopify store.
To resolve this, ensure you’ve correctly assigned the collection in the GemPages editor and that the collection is active and visible in your Shopify store.
How to display a collection on my collection page?
Try these steps to show the collection on a collection page properly.
Assign the collection to your page
If the collection is not assigned to your collection page, it will not show when you preview or publish the page. Hence, please note that you have assigned the right collection to your collection page

Check collection visibility in GemPages
- Go to the Advanced tab in GemPages Editor to ensure the collection is not hidden or disabled
- Toggle the display on all devices: Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
Verify that the collection visibility in Shopify
#1: Check Collection Status
- In your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections
- Ensure the collection is marked as “Active” and not “Draft”.
#2: Verify the sales channels
Make sure the collection is active on the “Online Store” Shopify Sales channels:
- Go to Product > Collection in your Shopify admin
- Click on the collection name to open its editor.
- Under the Sales channels in the right sidebar, click the calendar icon next to Online Store
- Verify that the publication date and time for the collection have passed. If it’s set for a future date, the collection will not be visible.
- Click Save to save your changes.
