Change Currency and Currency Format
Your store’s currency format controls how prices appear across your Shopify store, including GemPages pages that use the Product Price element.
Step 1: Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings to open store settings.
Step 2: Under the Store default, you’ll see the Currency display.

Step 3: Click the three-dot icon > Change currency formatting.

Step 4: In each of the fields, replace {{amount}} with the currency format that you want to use from the options table.
Once done, hit Save.
These settings apply store-wide, meaning the currency format will affect all Shopify pages and GemPages pages.

Follow Shopify Policy: Regardless of what currency format you choose, your store’s checkout will always show decimal places.
Update the Product Price Assigned to GemPages Templates
Step 1: Go to Shopify Admin > Products, and click on the product you want to edit.
For example, we locate the “Sugar Free Kombucha”.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Variants section, where you can change the price for each product variant by entering an exact number in the price box.

Your changes will be automatically saved. However, if you see the Save button displayed, click it to ensure all your changes are recorded successfully.
Afterward, the next time you open the GemPages editor, your product price will be updated.

Hide Currency Symbol Only on GemPages Pages
By default, if you change the currency format in Shopify Admin, the change will apply to all pages, including Shopify pages and GemPages pages. However, if you want to hide the currency symbol only on GemPages pages while still keeping it visible on Shopify pages, you can configure this setting directly in GemPages.
Step 1: Open the GemPages app from your Shopify Admin.
Step 2: Go to Preferences.
Step 3: Navigate to Store Settings.
Step 4: Find the option Show price with currency and untick it.

Step 5: Save your changes.
