- Optimize Plan:

General FAQs
Upgrade/Downgrade
1. What happens when I upgrade or downgrade within the same billing cycle?
Following Shopify terms, your GemPages billing cycle won’t be changed after you upgrade or downgrade your plan. Shopify will cancel the current charge and calculate the new one based on the number of days used.
When you downgrade your plan, you will be offered an application credit based on the difference in price and the number of days remaining in the billing cycle. Please refer to this article for more details about the Shopify App Billing cycle.
2. What if I switch from Monthly to Annual with the same plan?
The Annual plan takes effect immediately. Your billing will be adjusted based on the unused days in the monthly cycle.
3. What if I switch from Annual to Monthly?
Switching from the annual to the monthly package of the same plan will be recorded as canceling the yearly plan. In this case, Shopify will automatically convert the remaining days of your Annual package into application credits. Please contact our Support Team for further assistance.
4. What if I upgrade and change billing cycles at the same time?
As the new Annual plan becomes active right away, your next payment is adjusted based on how many days were left in your Monthly cycle.

1. How many pages can I publish?
Unlimited pages on any paid plan. The Free plan includes one published page.
2. How does the Free plan work?
It lets you build and publish one Shopify page with no upfront cost or credit card required.
3. What happens when I hit the limit of my current plan?
It means your store is growing! Consider upgrading to unlock more features and scale further.
4. Can I use one subscription across multiple stores?
No. Each subscription is tied to a single store. However, discounts are available for multi-store setups, and you can easily transfer templates between stores.
5. What happens if I need support?
GemPages is dedicated to providing exceptional support, with 24/7 services available to all users. We go beyond simple FAQs, tackling any technical questions you may have. Paid users enjoy even more benefits, including dedicated assistance with minor customization requests.
Response times may vary based on the priority associated with each plan type, but we ensure a response within 24 hours.
Store Performance & Compatibility
1. Will GemPages slow down my store’s loading speed?
No. We optimize every line of code, use global CDNs, and only load our scripts on GemPages-built pages.
2. Can GemPages optimize my store conversion?
Optimizing your store for conversion involves a complex journey, including hypothesis testing, data analysis, and more. But GemPages makes this easier for you.

1. How can I apply for the new multi-store discount?
Please go to the in-app Upgrade page, look for the multi-store discount section, and click “Make a Request.” Our Customer Support will verify your store domains and send you the discount code and guidelines for applying it.

2. Can I add or remove stores after subscribing to the multi-store discount?
Yes, you can. Please contact our Customer Support Team for the updated subscription fees and application guidelines.
4. Can I use multiple discounts at once?
No. Only one promotion can be applied at a time. We’ll help you choose the best one.
5. How can I get the latest discount?

Uninstalling GemPages
1. Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can navigate to GemPages Dashboard > Plans > Downgrade to Free to cancel your subscription at any time.
If you cancel it before the current billing cycle ends, no further fees will be charged to your account.
2. What happens if I uninstall GemPages?
After uninstalling the app and removing all codes, your pages revert to the Shopify theme. If not, your pages may stay live but can’t be edited. Your data will be deleted after 2 days.

3. How does billing work?

4. Can I transfer my GemPages subscription to another Shopify user?
The GemPages subscription is linked with the Shopify store, which can be transferred along with the store owner. Refer to the Shopify Help Center.
Refund
1. How can I request a refund?
You can follow the steps below to request a refund:
- Step 1: Cancel the subscription.
- Step 2: Submit your latest invoice from the Shopify admin to the support team.
- Step 3: Wait 3-5 business days for the refund decision to be verified.

2. Am I eligible for a refund?
GemPages offers a money-back guarantee for all plans only within 30 days of your subscription. If you are not satisfied with our services for any reason within this time, you are eligible for a full refund according to our Refund Policy.
3. How can I stop being charged when I opt out of GemPages services?
Regarding any third-party subscriptions on Shopify, the most effective way to terminate a billing cycle is to uninstall the app so that Shopify can recognize the user’s desire to utilize the app no longer and cancel the next billing cycle.
It is essential to point out that GemPages has no power concerning one’s billing cycle, and Shopify is solely responsible for managing all billing cycles. If you are still being charged after uninstalling GemPages, you are advised to contact our support for further help.
4. I got double-charged for the same billing cycle. What should I do?
Shopify is the party that manages all of your billing cycles, including GemPages. It’s rare to be double-charged (charged twice during one billing cycle).
However, please contact our Support Team for further assistance if this happens. With adequate proof of purchase, we’ll do our best to help you.
