How to Create a Product Page Using GemPages Templates?

Follow the steps below to create a product page using ready-made templates.

Step 1: Log in to your GemPages account. Go to Pages and click Create New Page.

Step 2: You will now see three options to create your product page:

• Option 1: Start from Scratch
• Option 2: Use a Ready-Made Template
• Option 3: Import a GemPages File

This article focuses on Option 2: Use a Ready-Made Template.

To use a template:

• Hover over the template you want to use
• Click Use as product page

Once selected:

You will be automatically redirected to the GemPages Editor.

Step 3: Use the drag-and-drop editor to make the template your own:

• Update text, images, and colors to reflect your brand.
• Add essential elements like product descriptions, reviews, and CTA buttons.
• Enhance the page with trust badges, countdown timers, stock counter or social proof to boost conversions.

Step 4: After customizing your product page, the next step is to assign products to the template.

Assigning products means linking Shopify products to the GemPages layout you created.

You will need to decide whether to:

• Apply the template to specific products, or
• Apply the template to all products in your store

This step ensures that when customers open a product page in your store, they will see your custom GemPages design instead of Shopify’s default layout.

Step 5: Once you are satisfied with your design:

• Click Save to store your changes
• Click Publish to make the product page live

After publishing, your product page will be available to customers according to the assignment settings you selected.

Replace Your Existing Product Page

If you want to replace your current product page with the new design, you will need to assign the template correctly and set it as active.
