What Happens When Your Store Moves to the Free Plan

Your GemPages plan may be transitioned to the Free Plan in certain situations — for example, when you switch to the Free Plan or an Agency managing your plan is offboarded. This article explains when this transition happens, what changes to expect, and how your GemPages features will be affected after the move.

When a Store Moves to the Free Plan

Your store will automatically switch to the Free Plan in one of the following cases:

You change your plan to the Free Plan from your GemPages Dashboard.
The Agency that previously managed your store through Agency Mode offboards, meaning they stop managing your GemPages plan, and the paid GemPages plan they previously provided ends.

When any of these occur:

The paid plan (Build, Optimize, or Enterprise) ends immediately.
Your store’s GemPages plan changes to the Free Plan.
You still have access to GemPages, but your features and publishing limits will be restricted according to the Free Plan.

What the Free Plan Includes

After being downgraded, your store will retain access to GemPages’ core building tools. All previously published pages will remain live, but under the Free Plan, you can only publish one page.
