While using GemPages v7 New Editor, you may sometimes see specific error codes when saving, publishing, or managing your pages.

Publishing Errors
These errors appear when you try to publish a page to Shopify.

| 400107 | Need at least 1 section to publish | Your template doesn’t contain any sections. | Add at least one section before publishing. |
| 400108 | The number of sections exceeds Shopify’s limit | Your page has more sections than Shopify allows. | Remove or merge sections to stay within the allowed limit. |
| 400106 | Plan limit reached for publishing | You’ve reached your plan’s publishing limit. | Unpublish another page of the same type or upgrade your plan. |
| — | Shop has no connected platform | The Shopify store isn’t properly connected to GemPages. | Try publishing again. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall GemPages from your Shopify Admin. |
| 400200 | Not found any blog to assign article | The blog assigned to your article was deleted on Shopify. | Create a new blog post and assign it to an existing blog. |
| 400201 | Page type does not support “Make Default” | You’re trying to make a page default that isn’t eligible. | Choose another page type that supports “Make Default.” |
| 404203 | Section does not exist in theme | A section was deleted from your Shopify theme or by another app. | Delete that missing section from GemPages and rebuild it. |
| 404205 | Platform has no blog | Shopify requires at least one blog under Online Store > Blog Posts. | Create a blog in Shopify before publishing article pages. |
| 400202 | Section size exceeds threshold ( KB) | The section content is too large for Shopify’s limit. | Reduce images or content size within the section. |
| 400203 | Custom fonts exceed max character length | Custom font files exceed Shopify’s size limit. | Remove or replace heavy fonts with lighter ones. |
Connection and Authentication Errors
These errors relate to your Shopify login session or token.

| 403001 | Unauthenticated user | Your login token expired or became invalid. | Log out and sign back into Shopify, then reopen GemPages. |
| 403002 | Unauthenticated shop | Your Shopify shop authentication token is invalid. | Re-login to Shopify and reopen GemPages from the Admin panel. |
Campaign Management Errors
- Error code: 403003 – Plan does not allow this action
- Cause: Your current plan doesn’t include campaign editing permissions.
- How to fix: Upgrade to a plan that allows campaign management.
Sale Funnel Offer Errors
- Error code: 400136 – Can’t publish disabled offer
- Cause: The Sale Funnel Offer is disabled.
- How to fix: Enable the offer before publishing.
Theme Style Errors
These errors occur when working with global styles or password-protected themes.

| 400137 | Global style cannot be empty | You tried to save a blank global style. | Add at least one styling configuration before saving. |
| 400138 | Password incorrect | The theme password entered is wrong. | Re-enter the correct theme password. |

Sales Funnel Deletion Errors
- Error code: 400140 – Cannot delete an active sale funnel
- Cause: The funnel is still active.
- How to fix: Deactivate it first, then delete.
Page Deletion Errors
These errors occur when you try to delete a page that’s either published or part of a template package.

| 400142 | Published pages can’t be deleted | The page is currently live on your store. | Unpublish the page before deleting it. |
| 400144 | Can’t delete page in template package | The page is part of a template package. | Remove it from the package first, then delete it. |
Page Update Errors
These errors occur when you update or save a page with missing or duplicated information.

| 400147 | Name must not be empty | The page title is missing. | Add a valid page title before saving. |
| 400148 | Handle must not be empty | The page handle (URL slug) is blank. | Enter a valid handle before saving or publishing. |
| 409100 | Page handle already exists | The handle is already used by another page in your store. | Update the handle to a unique name. |
Discount Activation Errors
These errors appear when creating or activating discounts through GemPages.

| 404500 | Platform discount does not exist | The discount has been deleted from Shopify. | Click Activate again to resync, or recreate the discount. |
| 400501 | Discount activation limit exceeded | Shopify allows only 5 active automatic app discounts. | Deactivate or delete other automatic discounts in Shopify or GemPages before activating a new one. |
| 400502 | Discount active time overlaps with another discount | The discount’s active dates overlap with an existing one on Shopify. | Change the start or end date, or create a new discount with a non-overlapping period. |
| 401001 | Invalid or expired token | The session token expired or became invalid. | Clear your browser cache, refresh, and log in again. If the issue persists, contact Customer Support. |
Shop & Staff Management Errors
These errors appear when managing shop domains or adding new staff members within your GemPages agency account.

| 400158 | Added your own agency domain | You entered your own agency’s Shopify domain in the add-shop list. | Remove your own agency domain from the list. |
| 400159 | Added another agency’s domain | You added a domain belonging to another agency. | Remove the invalid domain. |
| 400161 | Shop domain hasn’t installed GemPages | The store hasn’t installed GemPages yet. | Ask the store owner to install GemPages first. |
| 400163 | Staff email is already in your agency | The email already exists in your agency’s staff list. | Remove the duplicate email before adding. |
| 400162 | Staff email belongs to another agency | The staff email is linked to another agency account. | Use a different staff email address not associated with another agency. |
